Reading Detectives 102

One of the keys to becoming a good reader is to read like a detective! There are clues floating around in every single book that can help us gain a deeper understanding of the text we read. This class will help students learn how to find these clues in reading and develop stronger inferential and critical thinking. Students will be challenged to explore various fiction and non-fiction texts through discussion and use of various technologies.
Prerequisites for Reading Detectives 102: Students should be a very strong reader for their grade level, be able to communicate ideas effectively for their age, and feel comfortable with being challenged.
Curriculum varies each year.
